The story
Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe — the symbol of Berlin's public transport
The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) run the U-Bahn, trams, buses and ferries in Berlin. The striking yellow-and-red logo has been part of the cityscape for decades. “Weil wir dich lieben” (“Because we love you”) — the BVG's slogan since 2015.
★ Heiner's tip
Bus 100 from Bahnhof Zoo
Hop on Bus 100 with a normal BVG ticket and ride from Bahnhof Zoo to Alexanderplatz – past the Siegessäule, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden. The cheapest sightseeing tour in Berlin and one of Heiner's favourites.
