BERLIN Canvas
Description
BERLIN CITY CANVAS
In 2014, Heiner hand-drew Berlin, Germany, his hometown city. It was the first time he drew a big city, and he drew on small A4 size papers that he later assembled on the computer. But later in 2017 he had refined his method and drew Berlin again, this time on one single big 80x80 size sheet with ink and fountain pen.
Now we are 2024, and Heiner just finished another update, remembering his old graffiti days and sending out homages to the writers whom he adored. Actually, this means it makes 10 years already that he is drawing cities. Well, and just as much as Berlin has changed in these years, this Berlin Canvas is going back in time to remembering these graffitis which have always been on the streets around Heiner as he started out his artistic journey.

His artistic journey has taken him to Southeast Asia (for example Vietnam and Laos in 2016) and Europe (Valencia, Brussels, Basel in 2019). He drew 10 cities since his debut, and is adding new ones every year.
