YAAM (Young African Art Market) is one of the last genuine open-air culture spots in Berlin, right on the Spree. Afro-Caribbean music, beach volleyball, street food and a jetty over the water. Since 1994 — three evictions and moves later, still alive. Heiner drew a typical folding chair here, a symbol of the relaxed life at YAAM.
