BERLIN CITY PRINT – 10 YEARS OF CITY DRAWING
In 2014, Heiner drew Berlin for the first time – his hometown, sketched by hand on dozens of A4 sheets, later stitched together digitally. It marked the beginning of something bigger: his journey into city drawing.
Three years later, in 2017, he returned to Berlin with a refined technique – this time drawing the entire cityscape in ink on one single, large 80x80 cm sheet. Fast forward to 2024, and Heiner has once again revisited Berlin. This newest version reflects not only the transformation of the city but also his own – a tribute to his roots, his graffiti days, and the writers who inspired him back then.
This artwork is now available as a fine art print on premium natural matte paper (230 gsm). The smooth texture and high-quality finish make every detail of the ink lines stand out, while maintaining a warm, organic feel.

I set out from my hometown Berlin in 2014 – to London and Paris, to Southeast Asia with Vietnam and Laos, to Valencia, Brussels and Basel.
In every city I stay for weeks and draw live on the street. By now it's twelve cities – and a new one is added every year.
