The story
The black blot on the drawing — protest against gentrification
Right above the ZAST and below the piece of Wall, there's a fat black blot on the drawing. It has a story: in Prenzlauer Berg, for years, paint bombs were thrown at freshly renovated buildings — not an artwork, but a protest against the change that made the neighbourhood more expensive bit by bit.

Overkill
There are two ways to deal with a change like that: protest, as with the paint bombs. Or join in and sell your own scene — like Overkill, founded in 1992 as a graffiti magazine and today a big sneaker shop at Köpenicker Straße 195A in Kreuzberg. Heiner's splotch in the picture recalls both.
