The story
The slimmer tower on the water tower hill, Prenzlauer Berg
The Wasserturm Prenzlauer Berg is Berlin's oldest water tower ensemble (1877). Today a residential building with distinctive round architecture. A dark chapter: in 1933 the SA used the cellars as a “wild concentration camp” — one of the Nazis' first early torture sites. Today a peaceful park and a place to live.
