Cycle traffic light
Cycle traffic light painted black — only individual symbols light up
The story
Cycle traffic light painted black — only individual symbols light up
A form of creative urban redesign often seen in Berlin: traffic lights are painted black so that only certain symbols shine through — hearts, stars, water drops instead of red, amber and green. This one is a cycle traffic light; the bicycle lights up at the top. Found in several places around the city — a form of loving vandalism that has quietly enlivened the cityscape for years.
